Just to show you
I tend to have people ask what I do for my dad at work. Well, I am his assistant. So basically I make sure he doesn't get hurt while he is working on the horse. I also draw up shots and run the invoices for the clients. But mostly I hold the horse and protect the vet. Here is a picture of a horse that got stuck in a fence one night. He had to cut out her muscle because it was literally hanging by a thread. I wasn't there for the original emergency, but I helped hold up the flap of skin so he could bandage it the second time. It was a bit gross. This picture was taken a few days after the accident. The cradle is so she won't lick the wound.
